“healing from the inside out”

DR. KIA YANG, DTCM, M.A.T.C.M, L.AC, DIPL. O.M.

Dr. Yang, is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and Nationally certified with NCCAOM.  She received her Doctorates in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA focusing on integrative approaches of wellness in Western and Eastern Medicine, Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University located in Los Angeles, California and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from CSU, Sacramento.

Kia believes that Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine is a great preventative medicine in conjunction with western medicine.  Both Eastern and Western medicine work well together and independently, depending on an individuals medical condition.

She has worked with the Venice Family Clinic: Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center in a complementary medical setting working alongside with Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, and Certified Massage Therapist, successfully treating patients for a variety of conditions including chronic to acute pain, insomnia, stress, depression, low energy, addiction, and weight loss. At the Yo San University Community Clinic in West Los Angeles, she treated patients with different types of pain (neck, shoulder, elbow, back, etc), orthopedic issues, autoimmune diseases, stress, depression, anxiety, women’s/men conditions, cold and flu, diabetes, hypertension and much more.

Her passion and goal in life is to heal and educate individuals and the community about the importance of health and well being. Viewing the body holistically and identifying patterns of imbalances is what allows her to create treatment plans to re-balance the body in hopes of making it functional again.  She strives to manage and assist anyone who is ready to make a change and committed to their wellness. She believes that healing occurs from the inside out and it all starts with the “self”. She encourages everyone that she encounters to take charge of their own body, flourish, and to live a healthy balanced lifestyle; step by step and day by day with an open mind.
